Use this placard to keep ship crew of fixed and floating platforms (and ships alongside them) from dumping any garbage into the ocean and navigable waters of the U.S. except when specifically allowed. The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) and domestic law may levy penalties for violations.
