Install this placard for ship crew of vessels more than 26 ft (7.9 meters) prohibiting them to discharge waste into the ocean and navigable waters of the U.S. The placard also displays exceptions where discharge of some kind of waste is permitted within specific distances. The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) and domestic law may levy penalties for violations.
